New Years Eve - Some celebrate it a home with a few friends, some down the local, some a big house party, a cocktail bar, special events, or Black Tie Ball. Believe it or not we'll soon be counting down days to New Years Eve again, and for many 2021 will definitely be a year we are glad to say good-bye to. Our lives need a bit of sparkle right now and so do our wardrobes.

Whatever you have planned to see in 2022, you'll want to find the perfect party outfit. Get ready to shine.

What is the perfect New Years Eve Party outfit? Well of course with any outfit the perfect attire depends in large on the venue. A full length evening gown with a zillion beads will guarantee you the belle of the ball at a Hollywood Glamour Ball, but a little over dressed for a House Party. And would you go to a Ball wearing skinny jeans?

There isn't one perfect outfit for New Years Eve. It doesn’t even have to be a Dress, there are dozens of Jumpsuits or Tuxedos for women available to, that are equally as on point today as an evening dress. One thing almost certain to feature in your outfits though, house party or once in a lifetime ball, is Sequins, Diamontee, Jewels or Beads. If they aren’t on the dress / jumpsuit / tuxedo, then they’ll be on your Clutch, or Shoes. Bling, Bling and More Bling! New Year’s Eve is the best excuse you have all year to really go all out on the Bling. House Party, Cocktail Bar, or Ball, Bling fits the brief.

Also in abundance will be Velvet, Faux Fur, Embellished Lace, and Feathers. Don't construct your New Years Eve outfits to feature all of these though. Pick your favourite and let it show off, and maybe add touches of one of the others to compliment. There can only be one lead singer in a band.

‘Tis the season to wear velvet. All rich textures are so glam in Winter but the real star is Velvet. Velvet is far to hot to party in during the Summer, but nothing brings lux sumptuous style to your Christmas and New Years eve party outfit like Velvet does.

Metallics - Gold, Silver or Contemporary Metallic Hues

This Autumn Winter 2021/22 season, we've seen an OTT ’80s revival. Your Christmas and New Years Eve party is the perfect time for tapping into the 80's trend. Disco metallic stripes in every colour, high shine fabrics, a dress swimming in shimmer. Look for those with puff or padded shoulders for a true 80's vibe.
